A transfer of 33 more "immatures" took place from the 9th to the 12th Battalion. Again, the individual men were not identified.
7th January 1940
Pte R.K.M.Rutherford of the 9th Battalion, having been selected as a Candidate for an Emergency Commission, was posted from the 9th to the 12th Battalion, before proceeding to the Officer Cadet Training Unit (OCTU).
