A transfer of 33 more "immatures" took place from the 9th to the 12th Battalion.

7th January 1940

Pte R.K.M.Rutherford of the 9th Battalion, having been selected as a Candidate for an Emergency Commission, was posted from the 9th to the 12th Battalion, before proceeding to the Officer Cadet Training Unit(OCTU).
