1 November 1941 Bunkers Hill.

Manning Exercise with 10th DLI and 143 Field Regiment less two Batteries, plus one Battery.

Leave Party M returned – no absentees. Weather showery, mild.

2 November 1941

Leave Party “O” embarked. Weather fine, showery intervals, mild. Colonel Maufe arrives.

3 November 1941

Nothing of importance. G.O.C.’s indoor model exercise. Weather showery.

4 November 1941

Nothing of importance. Conference on manning exercise. G.O.C.’s indoor model exercise. Weather – rain, mild.

5 November 1941

Nothing of importance. C.R.A.’s training conference. Fine, getting cold.

6 November 1941

G.O.C. TEWT on Mountain Warfare. Lieutenant Bray RAOC at RHQ for the night. Fine, very cold. Northern Lights very active.

7 November 1941

Conference on G.O.C.’s TEWT. Major Charlton from 69th Field Regiment arrived from AKUREYRI. Weather very cold night.

8 November 1941

Nothing of importance. Very cold.

9 November 1941

Nothing of importance. Cold but getting warmer. Rain later. Gunner Taylor J severely injured in motorcycle accident.
