Unit settled in at new location, Walberswick.

Unit engaged in individual training.

Exercise “IBEX” during which the unit was engaged on an exercise, planned to ascertain the time, method and equipment necessary to brief an assault formation after concentration.

1 – 31 January 1944

Period of unit individual training.

20 January 1944

Unit completes mobilisation.

24 – 31 January 1944

Night training: Hours of training - Reveille 12:00 hours Lights out 03:30 hours.

26/27 January 1944

Night. 191 Battery co-operates with 11th DLI.

27/28 January 1944

Night. 386 Battery co-operates with 10th DLI (Battalion night attack).

30/31 January 1944

Night. Regimental night march for “B” vehicles.
