At 19:50 hours on 8th a large party left for Scraesdon Fort near Torpoint, Cornwall, a rear party of L/Sgt Everett and 6 Other Ranks at Launceston.  Major Cameron and 2 Officers reported for duty.

507th Field Company – Royal Engineers War Diary – June 1940

1 June 1940 Parties remained at their respective Camps for rest and to recover from their ordeal. 2 June 1940 Sapper Beadnell arrived at Launceston. (First to arrive of 507 Field Company). 6 – 8 June 1940 Parties of NCOs and men arrived at Launceston, being our reassembly point. At 19:50 hours on 8th a large party left for Scraesdon Fort near Torpoint, Cornwall, a rear party of L/Sgt Everett and 6 Other Ranks at Launceston.
