The 89th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment was part of the 49th Division, and therefore associated with 70th Infantry Brigade, from 29th December 1942.  The War Diary was photographed for the period 1943 - 1944 but, as with other associated units, the period included on the Website is confined to that in which the Regiment could have been associated with 70th Infantry Brigade.  The period covered is therefore from January 1943 until August 1944, when the Brigade was disbandedShould readers have queries about the rest of 1944, please get in touch with the author - contact details are below or on the Main Page - and we will attempt to answer any questions.
