Home address 18, Catherine Street, Spennymoor. Resident of Spennymoor in 1952. Research suggests a marriage to Ethel Brown in Durham Western in Q2 1947.

A report that Private Bage had been reported "Missing" appeared in the Auckland Chronicle of 18th July 1940.

On his return to the UK Private Bage was able to report, to the family, on the fatal injuries sustained by Private William O'Hara of 10th DLI at Ficheux.
