Home address Father was George Henry Clarricoates (1885 - 1914) who was a PO Stoker and died overseas, in Chile. Mother was Ethel Clarricoates (nee Lloyd) (1883 - 1963). At the time of the 1939 General Register Sapper Clarricoates was lodging at 78 Havant Road, Portsmouth and working as an Upholsterer and Furniture Dealer. He married Mabel Fannt Everett (1913 - 1983) in 1941. According to research there were other possible candidates for later marriages but the research could not be substantiated.
