Died/Killed in action DIED 11/8/1943 of Dysentery. Buried initially in Grave 5, block A, row 3, No.2 Cemetery - Sunkrae. Re-interred December 1945 in Grave B3.E.8. Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery. Headstone inscription reads:- "PEACEFULLY SLEEPING FAR FROM HOME; IN GOD'S OWN TIME WE WILL MEET AGAIN".
Home address Son of Ormund and Isabella Douglas of Amble, Northumberland. Mother lived at 3, Broomhill Street, Amble and was there with Wilfred's siblings at the time of the 1939 General Register, though Wilfred himself was not apparently present at that date.
