Sai Wan Cemetery, Hong Kong. Headstone inscription reads:- "TREASURED MEMORIES OF MY DEAR HUSBAND. DEATH DIVIDES BUT MEMORIES CLING". Probate granted 31/10/1945 at Durham Registry to Hannah Fawcett, Richard's widow.
Home address Son of William and Hannah Fawcett. At the time of the 1911 Census Richard lived with his parents at Gray Yard, West Rainton, Fence Houses, County Durham. Research suggests Richard married Hannah Bewley at Chester-le-Street in Q4, 1934. Husband of Hannah Fawcett of Middlesbrough. They had lived at 2 Joblings Yard, Great Lumley. Wife subsequently lived at 8, Wear Crescent, Great Lumley, Durham.
