Lieutenant Guerin was attached to 1st Tyneside Scottish from the French Army as a Liaison Officer during the period in France in 1940. His was a temporary attachment beginning on 26/4/1940.

No details on his military career have been traced, nor are we aware whether he was captured in May 1940, or evacuated via Dunkirk.

Any information on this Officer, or indeed on the other French Liaison Officers serving briefly with the Brigade in this period, would be appreciated and should be notified to the researcher at 70brigade@newmp.org.uk
