Headstone inscription reads:- "IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR DEAR SON. EVER REMEMBERED BY HIS MUM, DAD & FAMILY. R.I.P.". Probate granted at Newcastle upon Tyne on 14/1/1946 to Mary Ann Hall, wife of Charles Hall, Fusilier Hall's mother.
Home address Son of Charles Bell Hall and Mary Ann Hall (nee Prinn?) of Whickham, County Durham. At the time of the 1939 General Register he was single, working as a Brickyard Labourer and living at 24 Levin Drive, Broom Lane, Whickham.
