Research has identified the presence of Norwegian Instructors in Winter Warfare in Iceland, during the Brigade's service there, including those who taught the men of the Brigade, especially the Reconnaissance Platoons, to ski.  It is not known whether Lt Jacobsen may have been one of these men.
