Member of C Company.

DIED of WOUNDS 1/7/1944 aged 21.

Left leg blown off below knee, right foot and right hand shattered by fragments of mortar bomb.

Body identified by Lt J T Griffiths.

Initially interred at map reference 89116555 - France 1/25000 map sheet 37/16 South East - next to grave of tank man.

Buried Grave I. D. 9. St Manvieu War Cemetery, Cheux.

Son of John and Amy McNulty, of Sale, Cheshire.
