Died/Killed in action DIED 23/5/1943 (Regimental Orders shows 22/5/1943) - cause of death shown as Anaemia. Buried initially in Grave 17 Kanchanaburi Paper Mill Cemetery. Re-interred 29/1/1946 in Grave 2.F.14. Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. Headstone inscription reads:- "AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM".
