Injured by shell splinters in his hand 29/7/1944, caused by an enemy shell at map reference 113638, 40/16 South West.

Evacuated to the Regimental Aid Post of 7th Duke of Wellington's Regiment.

Mother's address as Next of Kin given as Mrs O'Rourke, 50, Hannah Street, Newcastle upon Tyne.
