Unfortunately the Card for John George within the Royal Artillery Tracer Cards held on Ancestry.co.uk is missing, so his earlier and later postings have not been able to be identified as yet.  It appears that he may not have transferred with his comrades to the 125th Anti-Tank Regiment, which was, sadly, captured at Singapore and suffered considerable casualties in Japanese hands.
