Taken Prisoner of War 20/5/1940 - a report appeared to that effect in the 1/8/1940 edition of the Auckland Chronicle (he was earlier reported missing). Repatriated to the UK. Posted ? Battalion Black Watch. Relegated to the Class Z Army Reserve 27/6/46, Perth P/59.
