Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. Headstone inscription reads:- "HIS TOILS ARE PAST, HIS WORK IS DONE, AND HE IN HEAVEN IS BLEST. EVER REMEMBERED". Probate granted 16/5/1946 at Newcastle upon Tyne to Robert Watson Parker, coal miner.
Home address Son of James and Ann Parker of Choppington, Northumberland. Mrs Parker lived at 7 Double Row, High Pit, Choppington, which had also been John's address.
