Headstone inscription reads:- "A SMILING FACE, A HEART OF GOLD, TO US HIS DEAR MEMORY WILL NEVER GROW OLD". Probate granted 13/11/1945 at Durham to Mary Leah Hansom wife of John Henry Hansom.
Home address Son of Mary Leah Hanson of Frosterley, County Durham. At the time of the 1939 General Register Albert worked as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver - possibly for the Co-operative Wholesale Society - and lived at 5, Front Street. Mother lived at 5, Front Street, Frosterley, County Durham.
