Re-interred 1/3/1946 in Grave 4.G.9. Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. Headstone inscription reads:- "BLEST ARE THE PURE IN HEART". Probate granted 11/12/1945 at Newcastle upon Tyne to Eleanor Scott, widow (John's mother).
