6 September 1942 ”Moor Court” near Kington.

T/291937 Pte Lane met his death while riding a motorcycle.

Lieutenant C M Gardner granted embarkation leave before reporting to No. 2 Holding Battalion RASC for inclusion in Draft R.H.H.Z.Z.

7 September 1942 Carmarthenshire

Commencement of Exercise “Wetshod”. Unit moves to Exercise area South Wales.
