Initially interred at Fontenay-le-Pesnel Map 7F/1 1/50,000 Reference 894.649 (which rather suggests the former date). Re-buried 11/7/1945 in Grave II.A.4. St Manvieu War Cemetery, Cheux. Headstone inscription reads : SLEEP ON, BELOVED AND TAKE THY REST IN PEACE, I KNOW, WITHIN HEAVEN BLEST.
