Taken Prisoner of War near Arras 22/5/1940. Notification of PoW status 1/8/1940. Relegated to the Class Z Army Reserve 27/1/1946. Re-enlisted in the Territorial Army 28/5/1947 and served with the 8th Battalion DLI (D Company) between 1946 and 1957. NSRW, EXE 1958.
