2/Lt Rose is mentioned in the 1 TS April 1942 War Diary as being the Platoon Commander of the Reconnaissance Platoon. He apparently left the Battalion before January 1944 and unfortunately it has not yet proved possible to identify him specifically. Once that is done, this entry will be expanded in the normal way.
