Joined 2nd Kensingtons 10/6/1943.  

Appointed Platoon Commander in C Group 10/6/1943.

Promoted Temporary Captain.

Wounded 13/8/1944 by shell splinters from an 88mm shell - sustaining a fracture to his right thumb and abrasions to his head.  The injury occurred at map reference 1/25,000 40/16 South West 114633.

Evacuated to No 6 Canadian General Hospital.
