-It is not clear how or when Pte Collins sustained the injuries from which he died.  If this was in Iceland it is not mentioned in the Battalion War Diary.  A copy of his Death Certificate would presumably supply relevant information.
+A copy of Pte Collins' Death Certificate was obtained via the "Scotland's People" Website and that provided the relevant information included above.  Some records had suggested that he died of wounds, but this appeared unlikely, given his service up to that point, and the lack of any information in the Battalion War Diary.
