Working </ins>in <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">great difficulties, owing </ins>to <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">the dark, the shifting coal, and with the danger </ins>that the <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">slightest false move might actuate the bomb fuse, they succeeded, after two attempts, in neutralizing the fuse</ins>.&#160;
