The opportunity has been taken to include here the photographs taken of the 49th Infantry Division Memorial during the Research Visit to Northern France and Normandy. The Memorial is a focal point for Remembrance both Regimentally and for families of those who became casualties of the Normandy conflict. All the constituent Units within the Division are commemorated and most of these are shown below. Those not included are for the 146th and 147th Brigades.
