Unfortunately the Card for John George within the Royal Artillery Tracer Cards held on Ancestry.co.uk is missing, so his earlier and later postings have not been able to be identified as yet. He was not transferred with his comrades to the 125th Anti-Tank Regiment, which was, sadly, captured at Singapore and suffered considerable casualties in Japanese hands, as he was transferred to 62nd Anti-Aircraft Regiment in November 1939.
