His death was not confirmed by the Perth Record Office until 7/4/1943 which then lead to a grant of Probate by the Durham Office to his father on 8/4/1943 covering his effects totalling £191.10.00.
Home address Son of Thomas Robson Raine (schoolteacher - served as a Special Constable during the War) and Annie Adelina Raine of School House, Ebchester, Pelton Fell. Thomas worked as an Apprentice Insurance Agent before enlistment. The family had previously lived at Holywake Street, Pelton Lane Ends, Pelton.
