Information contained in the brigade HQ War Diary indicates that Pte Day had served in 1st Tyneside Scottish and had been posted to work at Brigade HQ.  While the information will be checked with the DLI Enlistment Book it will need to be verified that he did, in fact, transfer to The Black Watch.  The entry in the Brigade document may be in error.
