Served Normandy from 9/6/1944. Transferred to the Dorset Regiment 28/8/1944 on the disbanding of the 11th Battalion. Posted to Number 49 Reinforcement Holding Unit 8/12/1944 - 15/2/1945. Posted elsewhere. Transferred to Lincolnshire Regiment 16/4/1945 and posted to the 4th Battalion. Returned to the UK 7/12/1945. Granted Service Release 13/12/1945. Demobilised.
