1 April 1944 Brandon, Suffolk.

8 April 1944

11 April 1944

Exercise BUMP commenced.

15 April 1944

Unit visited by Commander 30 Corps and Commander 49 Infantry Division.

17 April 1944

Exercise BUMP ceased.

21 April 1944

Unit changed to Field Pay accounting system.

22 April 1944

AF W 3008 and 3009. Appendices 4 and 9.

The Field Return of Officers showed that all six were present with the Unit but that a new Operations Officer was in post – replacing Captain Gregory – this was Captain W. W. Laidler, RAOC, who had taken up post on 15/4/1944.

The Field Return of Other Ranks indicated a strength of 181 men against the 184 establishment with three reinforcements required and three sergeants surplus to the establishment – again linked to a shortage of Staff Sergeants.

27 April 1944

30 April 1944
