Died/Killed in action DIED 16/8/1945 - cause of death Dysentery and Malaria. Interred in Grave 135 at 12 Km Camp, Diitrey. Re-interred between 11th March and 2nd April 1946 in Grave 6.D.61. Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. Headstone inscription reads:- "HIS TOILS ARE PAST, HIS WORK IS DONE, AND HE IN HEAVEN IS BLEST. EVER REMEMBERED". Probate granted 16/5/1946 at Newcastle upon Tyne to Robert Watson Parker, coal miner.
