Posted to 1st Reinforcements as 2nd Carrier Officer. Posted 70th Brigade HQ 21/8/1942 as Liaison Officer. Posted back to 11th Battalion DLI 16/2/1943 as Carrier Officer. Served Normandy. Wounded in action 16/7/1944. Relinquished Commission on grounds of disability 15/10/1945 and granted the rank of Honorary Captain.
