Preparation for move. 3 May 1943 – Bothwell

08:00 hours. Main Body (road) leaves for Burry Port. Move planned as Exercise Shylock. Unit stages at Carlisle, Preston and Wellington.

4 May 1943 – Bothwell

21:30 hours. Main Body (rail) leaves Bothwell.

5 May 1943 – Burry Port

06:15 hours. Main Body (rail) arrives Burry Port.

6 May 1943 – Burry Port.

17:00 hours. Main Body (road) arrives Burry Port.

8 May 1943 – Burry Port.

17:30 hours. Rear Party arrives.

9 May 1943 – Burry Port.

10:30 hours. Divisional Commander’s Conference, Whitney.

10 May 1943 – Burry Port.

15:00 hours. Brigade Commander’s Conference, Carmarthen.

18 May 1943 – Burry Port.

14:00 hours. C.O. attends Conference Pontypool held by Western Command.

20 May 1943 – Burry Port.

15:00 hours. C.O. attends Conference ADMS Office.

22 May 1943 – Burry Port.

19:00 hours. C.O. goes to Tropical Medicine Course.

27 May 1943 – Burry Port.

Acting Officer Commanding and 2 Staff Sergeants as Medical Umpires attended 11th DLI Combined Operations Exercise “Cauldron”.
