Research is required via The International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, to ascertain where Pte Jackson was buried after being killed during his escape attempt. German records are likely to show the place of burial, but his remains may not have been able to be recovered post-war by Graves Registration. Unfortunately, the ICRC in Geneva are refusing access to the WW2 records, thus denying the opportunity to ascertain if Pte Jackson does indeed have a grave location.
