Section 18 Heavy Anti-aircraft Battery move to AUDSHOLT. Section 4 Heavy Anti-aircraft Battery move to PIMPLE HILL.

7 August 1941

Brigadier E L G Griffith-Williams D.S.O., M.C. proceeded on duty to UK by air. Lt Colonel F W B Maufe, Royal Artillery, assumes the duties of Commander, Royal Artillery.

77 Light Anti-aircraft Battery arrived in ICELAND (Battery Commander Major W H Ahl Royal Artillery). Temporarily accommodated in Transit Camp. Absorbed in 12 Anti-aircraft Regiment.

Two Sections 18 Heavy Anti-aircraft Battery sailed for AKUREYRI. Troop of 77 Light Anti-aircraft Battery sailed for EAST SUB-SECTOR. Section 203 Heavy Anti-aircraft Battery in action at BRIGHTON CAMP.

16 August 1941

Visit of Prime Minister and Chiefs of Staff. Royal Artillery Iceland Force represented by detachments to take part in General March Past.

18 August 1941

Conference USA. Location of Army and Marine units. Anti-aircraft 50mm and Army Artillery Battalion.

19 August 1941

G.L. Set in action at BRIGHTON CAMP gun site.

20 August 1941
