Home address Father was an Army Officer. Attended Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge. Lived at Old Buckenham. Married Jean Cherry Drummond - later confirmed in 1986 as Lady Strange (17/12/1928 - 11/3/2005) - and subsequently moved to the family seat - Megginch Castle [1], Perthshire upon which he took her name. Post-war he worked for Indian Political Service and then the National Trust as Welsh representative. Published author. Had a total of six children - three sons and three daughters.
