From 70 Brigade
The Brigade's experiences in France can be separated into the "Dunkirk" period of April and May 1940, and the post-invasion "Normandy" period of June to August 1944.
Photographs collected, or taken during the research trip to France, have been collated - largely under the names of the places concerned - and are set out within the War Diaries. Website users with relevant photographs in their possession are encouraged to contact the researcher, using the e-mail link below, so that arrangements can be made to scan any photographs and upload them to the Website.
