Died/Killed in action KILLED in ACTION 17/4/1945. Initially interred in Arnhem (isolated) Holland Ginkel Farm, 40 yards East of the road from Arnhem to Ede. Re-buried on 17/8/1945 in Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery Plot 7.A.4. Headstone inscription reads "IN MEMORY OF MY SON, NEVER FORGOTTEN, ALWAYS NEAR, WE WHO LOVED HIM SADLY MISS HIM".
