He spent time at Work Camps in Germany - woodcutting, Upper Silesia - working in a food store, sugar factory and coal mines.
Died/Killed in action Died 26/7/1979 aged 59. Buried in Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Matraville, Randwick City, New South Wales, Australia
Home address Worked as a footman. Lived at 5 Laurel Avenue, Sherburn Road, Durham. No family details available but research suggests he had a brother. Emigrated to Australia.
