23rd Divisional R.E. commenced to move to Scraesdon Fort, near Torpoint.

Commenced re-equipping and billeting of soldiers.

G.O.C. visited Fort and inspected Company. Highly praised for work carried out in France, demolition work etc. thus allowing the evacuation of B.E.F. to continue by preventing too rapid advance of the enemy.
233rd Field Company left the Division and posted to 50th Division.

Lt Col. Kennedy, C.R.E. 23rd Division accompanied Divisional R.E. to Church Parade, Antony Parish Church. At Ceremonial Parade he addressed 508 and 507 Companies and stated that he was leaving the Division and handed over to Major Cameron.
