9 February 1941

11:00 hours. Air Raid Warning. German reconnaissance plane over Reykjavik and aerodrome area. A.A. batteries in action. M.P. on duty in town and docks area during raid.

12 February 1941

M.P. on special duties at M.T. Demonstration and Field Firing Exercise held for Force Tactical School.

14 February 1941

Company Part I Orders Nos. 24 to 28 issued and included within Appendix A. For details see below.

M.P. on special duties for 2nd day of M.T. Demonstration and Field Firing Exercise.

22 February 1941

M.P. engaged in Force Exercise No.2 of 1941. Signals Exercise.

Appendix A – Company Part I Orders – issued 6/2/1941.

This document listed the subject and content of Orders issued during February 1941 as follows:-

21. Dress – importance of wearing Force sign – men to be returned to unit lines if not wearing the “Polar Bear” flash.

22. Discipline – Nurses to be saluted as they rank as Officers.

23. Amendments to earlier Orders. Nos. 26. 36, 63, 64, 86, 91 and 144 cancelled.

Order on vehicle security revised. Change to procedure on carrying arms when off duty.
