16th October 1939

Billets at Alexandra Park Schools and the Londonderry Hall handed over from 9th Battalion to 12th Battalion.

19th October 1939

The "immatures" from the 9th Battalion were transferred to the 12th Battalion. This was featured on the 9th Battalion's War Diary at 17:00 hours on this particular date, but did not appear on the 12th Battalion's War Diary until 21st October - although the names and number of the individuals concerned were identified in the latter document. This batch totalled eighteen men in all.

Captain R Rutherford RAMC was posted from the 12th to the 9th Battalion, and Lt Col J.A.C.Scott M.C., T.D., RAMC was simultaneously posted from the 9th Battalion to the 12th Battalion.
