2 April 1944 – Thetford.

11:00 hours. Unit goes out on Exercise Seek. C.O. and Captain Slater will act as ADMS and DADMS respectively.

18:00 hours. Unit concentrated Wheatley, N E of Beccles 919122.

3 April 1944 – Thetford.

08:30 hours. Advanced Dressing Station opened at 919122 by HQ Company.

15:30 hours. Casualty Clearing Point opened Bush Green 6605. Advanced Dressing Station 919122 closes.

4 April 1944 – Thetford.

08:30 hours. HQ ordered to move to Bush Green.

11:00 hours. Unit ordered to move to Uphill Farm 472025.

13:30 hours. Unit at 472025.

5 April 1944 – Thetford.

07:00 hours. Unit moves to Millhill 2898.

09:30 hours. Cease Fire. 6 April 1944 – Thetford.

14:00 hours. Conference Divisional HQ.

9 April 1944 – Thetford.

15:00 hours. Brigade waterproofing trials at Yarmouth.

11 April 1944 – Thetford.

07:30 hours. Unit goes out on Exercise Bump.

13:30 hours. Unit concentrated area Sutton Common 760660 – East of Woodbridge.

12 April 1944 – Thetford.

07:30 hours. Unit prepares to move up with Brigade Group. One Section with forward Battalion. One forming traffic control post on route with Provost. Two Sections behind rear Battalion to form modified Advanced Dressing Station.

18:30 hours. HQ opens Advanced Dressing Station at Knodishall Whin 866773. Modified Advanced Dressing Station established Knodishall Common 886788 since 14:30 hours.

20:30 hours. HQ joined by 16 Field Dressing Station at Knodishall Whin to form Medical Area.

13 April 1944 – Thetford.

07:00 hours. Medical Area preparing to move as present site is to be occupied by gunners.

08:30 hours. Medical Area moves to Church Common, Snape 849771 and opens.

09:00 hours. Modified Advanced Dressing Station closes – on wheels at 886788.

13:00 hours. A2 and A3 Sections open Brigade Casualty Clearing Point at Leiston 903808.

19:30 hours. A3 Section sustained 6 casualties.

23:00 hours. Steady flow of casualties treated throughout the day.

14 April 1944 – Thetford.

10:00 hours. Visit of G.o.C. 2nd Army and Divisional Commander.

11:00 hours. Exercise case of Typhus – Captain Harris – A3 Section isolated and replaced by imaginary Section.

19:00 hours. A1, B2 and B3 Sections form Brigade Casualty Clearing Point at 898818.

15 April 1944 – Thetford.

16:00 hours. A2 and A3 Sections move up to Brigade Casualty Clearing Point and remain on wheels.

19:00 hours. Combined Dressing Station closes down and prepares to move.

22:30 hours. Combined Dressing Station opens up at Knodishall Common 888788.

16 April 1944 – Thetford.

Few casualties made.

21:30 hours. Cease Fire.

17 April 1944 – Thetford.

Return to permanent location.

20 April 1944 – Thetford.
