14:30 hours. Loading demonstration given to ADMS and other C.Os. who attended. Decisions made about Assault Scales.

10 May 1944 – Thetford

10:15 hours. Conference at Brigade HQ – Exercise SHISHAH.

15:00 hours. Conference with ADMS – Exercise SHISHAH.

12 May 1944 – Thetford

17:00 hours. Advance Party leaves on Exercise SHISHAH.

13 May 1944 – Thetford

12:30 hours. Main Body leaves on Exercise SHISHAH.

Exercise SHISHAH ends.

23 May 1944 – Thetford

10:30 hours. Conference ADMS.

25 May 1944 – Thetford

Cornelius 280900 B hrs. (There is no indication as to what this entry signifies).

12:00 hours. Address to units of the Brigade Group by Divisional Commander.

The War Diary indicates that all four weekly sets of Field Returns for Officers and Other Ranks were attached to the War Diary.

Field Return of Officers 20 May 1944.

This Return shows the arrival at the Unit of T/Captain R Lawson of the RAMC – a Stretcher Bearer Officer - on 21 April 1944, but at the date of the Return he was held as Surplus to War Establishment and was in fact away from the Unit on Embarkation Leave. No Officers had been posted to Home Details.
