3 November 1943 DOUNE

2/Lt J W WARNER posted to 3 Command Troops Engineers.

6 November 1943

2 Platoon return from 49 Division Assault School.

7 November 1943

3 Platoon to 49 Division Assault School training with C and D Companies Hallamshire Battalion.

9 November 1943

2/Lt J A S MOWAT (Surplus Officer) posted to 289 Field Park Company, Royal Engineers.

2/Lt J M EYNON reported and taken on the strength with effect from 31st October 1943.

Eynon appointed Platoon Officer No. 1 Platoon vice 2/Lt WARNER.

13 November 1943 HAMILTON.

Unit moves to Hamilton, Lanarkshire. Main billet TOWN HALL. Billets not good.

3 Platoon return from Assault School.

14 November 1943

1 Platoon to Assault School with A & B Companies 4 LINCOLNS.

15 November 1943

2 Platoon to Rothesay for Assault Training from Craft against German mock-up Company locality. Trained for 3 Exercises set by 1 Corps with 1 /4 Battalion KOYLI. Exercises “KILBRIDE”, “BLINDMAN’s BAY”, and “MILLHOUSE”.

18 November 1943

Officer Commanding to ROTHESAY.

21 November 1943

1 Platoon complete training at ASSAULT SCHOOL with A & B Companies 4 LINCOLNS and remain for a further week with C & D Companies.

23 November 1943

Officer Commanding and 2 Platoon return from ROTHESAY.

3 Platoon proceed to ROTHESAY with HALLAMS for Exercises KILBRIDE, BLINDMAN’S BAY, MILLHOUSE, KAMES set by 1 Corps.

27 November 1943

1 Platoon return from Assault School.

28 November 1943

2 Platoon go to ASSAULT SCHOOL with C & D Companies 1 /4 KOYLI.
