This has been a month of stock-taking and straightening up after the arrival of the whole Battalion from Scotland. Much attention has been paid to completing inoculations and vaccinations and all ranks have had a new experience in being jabbed three times for Typhus inoculation which was found to be completely painless.

The outstanding element of the month, or of the War for that matter, is receipt of the news that the Battalion is once more to resume operations as a fighting unit, and that the appalling Brigade Support Group nightmare is at an end.
